Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) can come in many forms: your grade level team, your course team or department, a post-secondary team or instructional leadership team to name a few. Regardless of the role, the objective is usually the same: to continuously collaborate in a nature that leads to improved outcomes for students. This course is designed for all teachers and educators who are currently involved in a Professional Learning Community within their school, or would like to start one in the future. In this 4 week course, participants will learn about ways to build a culture of collaboration within their PLC, practical strategies and protocols to guide your work, ways to overcome barriers to success including relationship building, and an abundance of resources to guide your thinking and learning.
