3/30/25-4/26/25: Unraveling the Mystery: Understanding the Educational Evaluation Process

Have you ever sat in a student support meeting with a sense of uncertainty as to what the assessment data really means?   Have you ever been asked to collect fill out a rating scale on a child suspected of a disability without explanation?  This course involves the clarification of the educational evaluation process, from intervention to eligibility decisions.  You will gain a basic understanding of the most common assessment tools, learn to decipher test results, and interpret a school psychologist's report.  This course will empower teachers with the background knowledge needed to be a strong advocate for all students.
